• When you order the book: your email address, name, shipping address and quantity ordered.
• When you join our updates: your email address.
• When you write to us: your name, email address and message.
• Automatically: basic technical information such as your browser, device type and the pages you visit.

Planet Wonder, Planet Trivia and the complimentary chapters can be used without submitting any personal details to us. Like most websites, we may still receive basic technical information when you visit, as described above.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe's use of your information is described in its own privacy policy.

How we use it

• To process and ship your order, and to contact you about it.
• To send occasional updates, only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
• To answer your messages.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam, including the security code on our forms.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run the site and deliver your order:

• Stripe, for payments.
• Our printing and shipping partners, so your book reaches you.
• Our email service provider, for updates and replies.
• Our website hosting and analytics providers.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Where it is stored and how long we keep it

Your information may be stored on servers outside the country where you live, including in the United States. We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons, messages for as long as needed to answer them, and update subscriptions until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending updates, by writing to [email protected]. If privacy laws where you live give you additional rights, you can ask us about those too.

Children

The site is for general learning audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, please write to us and we will delete it.
